Eudora 5.2 for OS X finalized
The long wait for the final version of Eudora 5.2 for OS X is over. Not much new from the beta, but this one won't expire.

ZOE 0.2.7 adds XML-RPC support
The experimental email tool ZOE has an update available today that brings XML-RPC support. Time will tell what this development means to early adopters. The program is still in very early beta stages, so it is not recommended for critical uses just yet...unless you are willing to live on the bleeding edge.

X-Commands 0.9 offers nearly 70 scripting commands
Kanzu Utilities: X-Commands 0.9. - X-Commands offers a suite of almost seventy scripting commands for use with Mac OS X. It's hard drive upgrade day
Updates to Mac Net Journal will be limited for a couple of hours today when I receive the 40GB hard drive I expect to be delivered today. It will be time to do one last backup of my user folder to a FireWire hard drive and then to remove the old drive, slip in the new drive, install OS X 10.2.1 and move my backed up user folder onto the new disk. It's a pretty simple process...
Update: The upgrade went fine and I cannot believe how much quieter this hard drive is! I hear little to no HD noise at all now. We will see how that holds up. Meanwhile, it took about a hour to get everything moved from the old drive to the new and to have me back up and running.
