Boswell 3.0 buyers promised OS X version soon
Boswell 3.0 is a text archiving and storage tool that can run under Classic in Mac OS X in this version and that is soon to be brought to OS X in a Carbon version. For a limited time the program can be purchased for $49.95, $50 off the regular price, and buyers are entitled to a free upgrade to the OS X version when it becomes available.
Note: Earlier I misread the information about this update and mistakenly stated that Boswell 3.0 will run natively under Mac OS X. As it turns out, that is not yet possible. Sorry for any confusion caused by my previous post...

Follow up: Mike Cohen writes in the Comments to this post that the latest nightly builds of Chimera since Oct. 12 have fixed this problem between RealPlayer and Chimera without the need for any additional intervention. A non-Mac question: Do you still have crows in your area?
As many of you know, besides my interest in the Mac, I am also a birder. Here in the western side of Washington state we have yet to see the West Nile Virus start killing huge numbers of birds as it has done across much of the country, and I don't look forward to seeing vastly decreased numbers of crows, ravens, hawks, and owls. And so I ask, if you live in an area where WNV has already hit, do you still see many corvids (crows and ravens)? Or are the stories of crows nearly completely disappearing in the wake of this virus overblown?
