OmniWeb 4.1.1 integrates RealOne files, fixes bugs
The popular Web browser OmniWeb gets an update to version 4.1.1 today that adds better support for RealOne multimedia files and includes fixes for a couple of crashing bugs. The English version is a 3.4MB download, and release notes are available.

Another .Mac blunder for Apple
MacCentral notes today that Apple rolls out .Mac for education. I have to wonder how hard educators will laugh at this "bargain" offering of .Mac services at $59 per account - with less iDisk and email storage space than the consumer .Mac accounts? Someone needs to enlighten Apple about the current economic reality of school systems...

An effective Web site can do wonders
Yesterday I was listening to music on our local cable system and I heard a catchy song by an artist I hadn't heard before, Alice Peacock from Chicago. And so I put the Web to work. My first inclination was to check out alicepeacock.com, and what did you know...it worked. But better yet, the Flash-heavy site offers a way to listen to all of the music on her self-titled new album. Positive music, a great voice, and a CD sale. That is an example of a Web site that serves its purpose.

A Script Editor in the works?
