Some still wait for Jaguar compatible drivers
Mike Cohen: "I just checked Cisco's page and it still has the same note, dated Aug. 30:
"Please be advised, existing drivers as listed below do not support Mac OS X 10.2. Drivers for Mac OS X 10.2 will be released shortly after the official release of Mac OS X 10.2 from Apple Computer. "

Mail.app seems much speedier under Mac OS X 10.2.1
After all of the bad mouthing that I give Mail.app and some of the other bundled applications with Mac OS X, I am giving the email client a try again today. Another cross-state bird watching weekend
I will get back into the swing of updating Mac Net Journal this morning after finishing another birding and book research weekend in Eastern Washington. In all, we drove 813 miles and visited some of the farthest reaches of the state before returning home late last night.
The photo today show the Hanford Reach area as viewed from the top of Rattlesnake Ridge in the Wahluke Slope Wildlife Area, with a shadow-filled ravine in the foreground pointing the way to the meandering Columbia River and the Hanford Nuclear Reservation on the opposite side of the river. We later drove down to the Columbia River and saw our first Porcupine of the year in a tree along the river's edge - the first of two porcupine's we saw on this weekend of travel along the Columbia and Snake Rivers.
