iView MediaPro update adds more file formats
iView MediaPro v1.5r2. - iView MediaPro is a fully scriptable application that catalogs, archives, plays, and displays graphics files. Among the numerous changes in this version: Added AppleScript to import Finder comments after import. [AppleScript Info]

What I've been up to this weekend
This weekend found me on the road once again, doing research for our upcoming book, Birding Washington. We covered 377 miles in a loop that took us along the southwest Washington coast yesterday, and then today we ventured northwest to the Olympic Peninsula and a visit to Fort Worden in one of our favorite towns in the state, Port Townsend. All in all, we travelled another 538 miles and hit a half dozen sites that will be included in the book.
The photo to the right here shows one of the highlights of the trip, when we drove to the mouth of the Columbia River and climbed the rocks along the north jetty and I snapped a shot of a group of Brown Pelicans passing overhead as they soared through the area in search of fish. Many of these same birds were diving into the river a few minutes later to snag dinner!
