More proof on the eve of WWDC that Classic still has uses
Beadscape. Not only did I spend actual cash to buy software (always a horrible
thought to a software reviewer), but I even paid for an application
that will only run under _Classic_. I can hardly bear to look at
myself in the mirror, but I have to say, Beadscape is darn cool. [Backup Brain]
This brings to mind a question I have been pondering: Are you still using Classic? What programs keep you firing up Classic? Send me a comment with your must-have Classic applications...

What a gesture!
After the last week of massive problems with Radio Userland, it is a great gesture that Dave Winer and Co. have boosted the site storage included with the $39.95 program to 40 megabytes. It was a tough week, but I have a feeling that after this experience, things will get better for folks who store their Weblogs on Userland's servers.
The Radio outages had little to no effect on Mac Net Journal. I FTP my site to a different server at Digital Forest, and things went swimmingly, except that I couldn't view the Weblogs.com utilities to see which of my favorite blogs changed each day.
What I missed most during the week was being able to see which Instant Outlines I subscribe to were changing throughout the week...
